An Adros Baltija client, one of the leading companies providing logistics and ship management services in Latvia, is looking for:
SHIP MANAGEMENT DATABASE OPERATOR
Main role responsibilities
- working with the company's Maritime Applications and Systems, monitoring it, troubleshooting and entering data according to the plan
- communicating with developers, monitoring changes in the program
- training ship crews (officers) and office staff
- servicing office and ship computers and office equipment as needed
Required skills and experience
- knowledge of maritime management, maritime law and regulatory acts
- experience with related programs and databases is welcomed
- maritime education and seagoing experience preferred
- advanced computer user, willingness to learn
- very good communication skills, strong sense of responsibility
- fluent English (written and spoken), good spoken Russian and Latvian
- current B category driving license
